Gender Minorities Workshops
Gender Minorities Aotearoa provides free training for health care providers who work directly with trans, takataapui, and intersex patients.
In collaboration with leading transgender sexual and reproductive health and HIV prevention specialists New Zealand Prostitutes’ Collective, we deliver a presentation and discussion based workshop packed with practical information and common scenarios.
This is designed primarily with sexual and reproductive health clinicians in mind, but is suitable for a range of health care providers and can be tailored to meet varying needs.
Currently this is limited to the Wellington region.
Please contact us for more details.
Our pamphlet ‘A Third Opinion: trans, takataapui, and intersex health care tips for clinicians’ is based on the presentation/workshop we deliver.
