Reception: 022 673 7002 admin@genderminorities.com

It’s the final fortnightly meetup before Aunty Dana’s op shop opens!

This Sunday 17th September, 2017 11am – 4pm, 128 Abel Smith street Wellington.

There are a few things to do before we can open, including making a roster for shifts, finishing putting the stock on the shelves and hangers, and a few other essentials.

If you’re keen to volunteer, please fill in this form, come along, meet some other lovely people, and help us plan our first summer!

Film Screening at 6pm

Bring some food to share if you want to, cosy up by the open fire, and join us to watch Girls Lost – a transgender story about being a teenager. It’s a bit of a heavy film but also beautiful. We will have some discussion and cups of tea afterward.

The venue is mobility accessible, smoke-free, child friendly, and has a gender neutral bathroom, so bring along your friends and whanau.

Please share this event and invite others as you please.

There is a link to our facebook here, and to Aunty Dana’s Op Shop website here, as well as information about our venue hosts the 128 Community Whare and Social Centre here.

See you there!
